During early 2020, and over the three following years, a new Reality has formed… much different than a ‘new normal’ or the ‘back-to-normal’ being widely touted early in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Banality became a spectacle.
Isolation became magnified.
Political disagreement became an insurrection.
Value was added to anything stable.
This project is an organically developing and revealing visual exploration on themes of aimlessness, serendipity, sustainability, and a re-direction of basic needs. These images re-frame commonplace objects and settings into new meanings and re-balance of normalcy… a New Reality.
